The majority of the population in Bijar are Kurds. \n\u003cbr\/\u003e\u003cbr\/\u003e\nThe Kurdish Bijars use a particularly thick weft yarn, which is extremely hard. The result is a plank-hard, extremely durable rug. The design of the field is arranged in such a way that it gives the impression that the medallion is floating on the field.\n\u003cbr\/\u003e\u003cbr\/\u003e The background of this Bijar is olive green.  The border features olive green, dark blue and light red.
