The so-called \"se-hoze\" motif, a basic design with three vertically arranged hexagonal medallions, in which star and animal motifs are seemingly randomly interspersed, is also frequently used, especially in larger Yalameh rugs. \"Se-hoze\" literally means \"three ponds\".
