WHO WE ARE

In 1979, our father, Ebrahim Zomorrodi, opened a gallery and workshop for hand-knotted Oriental rugs in Düsseldorf.

As children, we used the stacks of rugs to drive our father to the brink of madness with breakneck leaps. The patterns of the Persian rugs were our winding motorways for toy cars.

After university, we were drawn back to stacks of rugs and hypnotic patterns. We are Philipp and Dr. Maurice Zomorrodi and we'd love to pass our enthusiasm for rugs on to you. Our aim in doing so is to combine traditional craftsmanship with contemporary values and designs.
