Delivery and home trials in Düsseldorf

 

Redesigning or refurnishing your rooms is an important process, and sometimes not an entirely simple one. Don't let it take the joy out of it! Take your time and try out the rugs in your own home before you decide.

Of course we are happy to deliver the rugs to your home in Düsseldorf and the surrounding area with no obligation at all. As part of the planning we are also glad to visit you at homefirst, so that we can then choose together a harmonious selection of rugs from our collection in exactly the right size.

Rug washing

Rugs are everyday objects, and daily life leaves its traces on them. We clean your rugs exclusively gently by hand. After washing, the rugs are conditioned, which means the lanolin lost during washing is put back into the fibres. That way your rugs stay clean for longer after washing and are more resistant to dirt and moisture.

Restoration & rug repair

When a rug you have grown fond of over the years takes damage, it hurts all the more. Our rug weavers have the experience and the knowledge to restore and repair your rugs properly. Damage to the edges or the fringes, for example, is easily put right. Whole holes can be filled in by re-knotting the affected areas so carefully that you will not find the damaged spot again. Thanks to our decades of experience with rug repairs, we can repair the vast majority of damage to your rugs invisibly.

Non-slip rug underlays

For your safety it matters that your rug lies flat and secure. With the right underlay we stop it from slipping and at the same time provide better impact sound insulation. Not every underlay suits every rug, or the floor it lies on.

We are happy to advise you on the different underlays, looking closely at the conditions on site.

Buying and part exchange of old rugs

 

Have you inherited an Oriental rug, or would you like to make room for something new and sell your old rug? We buy your old, antique and even damaged rugs or take them in part exchange.

We prepare valuation appraisals and expert reports for your rugs. For 40 years we have been known as a specialist rug shop in Düsseldorf and the surrounding area. Our appraisals are accepted by all major insurance companies .
