Origin
A children's rug is more than a home accessory – it creates a safe, cosy and imaginative space for playing, romping about and daydreaming. Whether with cheerful motifs, lovingly drawn animals or playful street and landscape designs – our children's rugs are made with children's needs in mind. They are made of new wool, which makes them easy to care for, non-slip and pleasantly soft.
Material
The pile of this children's rug is hand-knotted from high-quality new wool. New wool is obtained by gently shearing live sheep. New wool is a renewable, natural raw material with a range of impressive properties: thanks to the wool's natural lanolin content, the surface repels droplets of water and is therefore naturally protected against dirt. Wool also provides excellent thermal insulation, helps regulate the indoor climate and absorbs sound.
A note on the photos
The colours of this rug change depending on which side you look at it from. It all depends on whether the light falls with the nap of the pile or against it. That is why we have photographed the rug from several angles.
