Every rug is a one-of-a-kind piece – and this particular Mood exists exactly once. At 303 × 242 cm it works beautifully as a large living-room rug. It also looks at home in the dining room under a table for six to eight people. Pure wool, worked by hand – hard-wearing and, in this form, there for the taking only once. Origin

This hand-knotted modern designer rug is a real eye-catcher and lifts any modern interior. Despite its contemporary design, it makes every room feel more homely and welcoming.

Material

The pile of this Mood is made from a hard-wearing blend of wool and viscose. Viscose (also known as acetate silk or rayon) is always obtained from cellulose, a natural product, and therefore from the raw material wood. In India, the cellulose pulp is obtained from bamboo. In an elaborate process, the pulpy cellulose is drawn out into a continuous textile yarn. This is why viscose is also described as a continuous filament yarn. Because of the silky sheen of the yarn, viscose made from bamboo is also called "Bamboo Silk". The colloquial term "artificial silk" is not permitted under the German Textile Labelling Act (Textilkennzeichnungsgesetz, TKG).

A note on the photos

The colours of this rug change depending on which side you look at it from. It all depends on whether the light falls with the nap of the pile or against it. That is why we have photographed the rug from several angles.
