Reflection
This one-of-a-kind piece in light grey brings together traditional craftsmanship and timeless elegance. With a knot density of approx. 120,000 knots per m², the painstaking work shows above all in the precise drawing of the pattern and the fine execution of the details. At 92 × 60 cm it works well as a small living room rug. The harmonious colouring and the characteristic texture lend any room an exclusive, inviting atmosphere. A rug of this quality is far more than a furnishing item – it is a piece of traditional textile art with individual character and lasting value.

Origin
The inspiration for this hand-knotted designer rug came from reflections on the surface of water. Other associations are of course allowed and welcome. The result is a modern design that sits beautifully in contemporary interiors. The partly kaleidoscopic patterns make this rug a real eye-catcher that makes any room feel more homely and inviting.
Material
The pile of this Reflection is made from a hard-wearing blend of wool and viscose. Viscose (also known as rayon or acetate silk) is generally obtained from cellulose, a natural material, and therefore from wood. In India, the cellulose pulp is obtained from bamboo. In an elaborate process, the pulpy cellulose is drawn out into a continuous textile yarn. This is why viscose is also referred to as a continuous filament yarn. Because of the yarn's silky sheen, viscose made from bamboo is also called "Bamboo Silk". The colloquial term "Kunstseide" (artificial silk) is not permitted under the German Textile Labelling Act (TKG).The weft and warp threads of this Reflections are made of cotton. This versatile material is tear-resistant and stretchy, which makes it especially well suited to a hard-wearing foundation weave.
A note on the photos
Child labour? No thanks.
Child labour? No thanks. Children belong in school, not at a knotting frame or a loom. For us it therefore goes without saying that we only offer rugs made under fair conditions and without child labour.
We attach particular importance to humane working conditions and tolerate no child labour at any of our producers. Thank you for helping us to ensure fair conditions.
That is why we support the initiative Care & Fair against child labour in the rug trade.
