Every rug is a one-of-a-kind piece – this example of the REMINI type exists exactly once. At 190 × 145 cm it is a versatile small living room rug that sets just as considered an accent in a bedroom or entrance area. As a wool and silk rug, this one-of-a-kind piece combines hard-wearing natural fibres with a particularly fine appearance. The knot density is given as 130000. Material

The pile of this REMINI is a hard-wearing blend of wool and viscose. Viscose (also spelled viscose, and known as acetate silk or rayon) is generally made from cellulose, a natural product – in other words from the raw material wood. In India the cellulose pulp is obtained from bamboo. In an elaborate process the pulpy cellulose is drawn into a continuous textile yarn. That is why viscose is also called continuous filament yarn. Because of the silky sheen of the yarn, viscose made from bamboo is also known as "Bamboo Silk". The colloquial term "artificial silk" is not permitted under the German Textile Labelling Act (TKG).

A note on the photos

The colours of this rug change depending on which side you look at it from. It all depends on whether the light falls with the nap of the pile or against it. That is why we have photographed the rug from several angles.
