When designing this hand-knotted rug, simplicity and minimalism were particularly important to us. The result is a modern, straightforward design that fits perfectly into modern interiors. Despite its cool, simple design, this rug makes every room more cozy and comfortable.
The pile is a plain golden beige. The simple design is understated, but can also provide a great design accent. The monochrome appearance of this rug fits perfectly in any environment.
The straight stripes of this Straight organize and structure the pattern.
The pile of this Straight is made of durable viscose. The colloquial name "artificial silk" is not permitted under the German Textile Labelling Act TKG. Viscose also acetate silk or rayon is generally obtained from the natural product, cellulose, i.e. the raw material of wood. However, in India the cellulose mass is also obtained from bamboo. In a complex process, the pulpy cellulose is pulled into a continuous textile yarn. This is why viscose is also known as continuous filament yarn. Because of the silky sheen of the yarn, viscose obtained from bamboo is also called "Bamboo Silk". The weft and warp threads of this Straight are made of cotton. This versatile material is tear-resistant and stretchable and, therefore, ideal for a durable backing fabric.
