Origin and design

Classic floral ornaments paired with contemporary aesthetics – we drew inspiration for this hand-knotted tapestry from the floral patterns of French tapestries.

We reworked and simplified the traditional ornaments, and in particular, completely rearranged the color scheme. The result is a fusion of traditional carpet design and modern European aesthetics. With our tapestry design, we aim to reflect current European interior design trends while playfully engaging with the principles of traditional carpet weaving.

The colors of this rug change depending on which side it is viewed from. It depends on whether the light falls on the line or against the line of the pile. We have therefore taken pictures of this rug from different perspectives.
