Origin and design

We give some of our old, oriental rugs a more modern look through an elaborate process. We call these rugs vintage rugs. Vintage rugs are design objects where traditional craftsmanship meets contemporary interior design. The new dyeing process lends the traditional patterns of the oriental rugs a timeless character. Rugs that are no longer fashionable due to their color scheme are thus given a second life in a more modern guise. Using old rugs as raw material for new products is resource-efficient and sustainable.

Notes on our photos:

The colors of this rug change depending on which side it is viewed from. It depends on whether the light falls on the line or against the line of the pile. We have therefore taken pictures of this rug from different perspectives.
