Material

The pile of this hand-tufted designer rug is made from high-quality woollen yarns that are shot by hand into a cotton backing cloth using an innovative process with compressed-air guns. This method is known as tufting. Tufting takes considerably less work than traditional hand-knotting, which speeds up production and allows for lower prices. The quality and durability of hand-tufted rugs is impressive for the price.

The weft and warp threads of this hand-tufted designer rug are made of cotton. This versatile material is tear-resistant and pliable, which makes it ideal for a hard-wearing foundation weave.

Condition

This hand-tufted designer rug has a history. It was made around 7. It has been thoroughly cleaned and is in good but only partly restored condition. The rug has one stain. We have not fully restored this hand-tufted designer rug, because we feel it has a special charm just as it is. If that is what you would like, we are of course happy to restore the rug further for you. We can bring almost any rug back to near-perfect condition.
