This rug in beige combines traditional craftsmanship with timeless elegance. At approx. 90,000 knots per m², the workmanship is correspondingly elaborate, as you can see in the precise drawing of the pattern and the finely worked details. Material

The pile of this hand-tufted designer rug is made from high-quality woollen yarns that are shot by hand into a cotton backing cloth using an innovative process with compressed-air guns. This method is known as tufting. Tufting takes considerably less work than traditional hand-knotting, which speeds up production and allows for lower prices. The quality and durability of hand-tufted rugs is impressive for the price.

The weft and warp threads of this hand-tufted designer rug are made of cotton. This versatile material is tear-resistant and pliable, which makes it ideal for a hard-wearing foundation weave.

Condition

You are not the first to take a liking to this hand-tufted designer rug. It has had owners before you who valued and used it. It was made around 16. It has been thoroughly cleaned and is in good but only partly restored condition. The rug has a few small stains. We have not fully restored this hand-tufted designer rug, because we feel it has a special presence just as it is. If that is what you would like, we are of course happy to restore the rug further for you. We can bring almost any rug back to near-perfect condition.

A note on the photos

The colours of this rug change depending on which side you look at it from. It all depends on whether the light falls with the nap of the pile or against it. That is why we have photographed the rug from several angles.
